2005, interactive sculptur, snowglobe, projection, sound
The viewer can take the snow globe into his hands. Inside the snow globe is a projection of a bird which is a marrionette. By shaking the snow globe the viewer produces a change inside the snow globe. The viewer has the power in her/his hands to produce with the fragile snow globe (made out of glass) artificial snow. Would the viewer let gently down the snow or would she/he again and again shift the snow into a violent storm? Depending on the intensity the viewer would shake the snow globe, she/he would change the projection and by this the “world”, which is reflected in the snow globe. By moving and shaking the snow globe, everything changes in it.
